Analysis of corporate financial statements
When grading a student, what do you look for?
I expect students to reflect a basis understanding of the course material and be able to clearly respond in a concise manner.
What kind of student would love your class?
A student should be responsive, inquisitive, and have analytical skills.
What is one piece of advice you have for students?
Be respectful, flexible, and disciplined.
What area in your field are you most knowledgeable about?
Financial accounting and the external audit process.
What is one accomplishment you are proud of?
I developed a course is fraud detection and prevention.I have received numerous teaching awards and was the first inductee in the CBA teaching hall of fame.
Are you currently involved in something interesting outside the classroom?
I am involved in continuing education for accounting professionals.
Is there anything else the student should know before taking your class?
I am told that I am very funny (a good funny) :)
