What is your style of teaching?
I'm very straightforward and blunt. I have high expectations of my students. My role is to supplement the text and assignments, not hold hands.

PPT slides supplemented by lecture and real-life examples
What is the most engaging assignment you give?
Depends on the course - proving sampling works in quant research; retail audits in consumer behavior.
When grading a student, what do you look for?
A thorough knowledge and understand of the material that can be demonstrated through proper application of the concepts. Clear writing. Good analytics.
What kind of student would love your class?
Aware! A student who is passionate enough about their major to be a voracious reader and absorber of all there is to know about the subject.
What is one piece of advice you have for students?
Be accountable. Take responsibility for your own future. You determine whether you succeed or fail.

Marketing research and how it helps marketers be better decisionmakers.

Professionally, being part of an award winning research team on human ergonomics.Personally, being comfortably independent.
