I use rubrics so that everyone knows what is expectedI try very hard to separate students from their numerical performance to minimize teacher bias.

Sometimes students say I am intimidating; it is not intentional. Talk to me, electronically or in person. I respect my students tremendously.

I tend to be direct in my lectures, but do not lecture often applicability is important I prefer highly interactive classes
