The most engaging is the final portfolio where students rewrite work they have already begun--and received feedback for--in class and in private conferences.

When grading a student, what do you look for?
I look first to see if students have successfully completed the B Contract, based entirely on finishing tasks. Grades above B are based on writing excellence.
